Maintenance Technician - Military Veterans

Our client is looking for a Maintenance Technician. This role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to utilize their hands-on technical skills homed in the military. As a maintenance technician, your main responsibilities will involve installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining both production and facility equipment. This is crucial for ensuring that the company can meet its business goals efficiently and safely. Specific tasks include installing, maintaining, and upgrading production machines and other equipment in the plant. You'll also be on hand to provide emergency repairs during production and perform scheduled maintenance when machines are out of service.

Your military background should serve you well here, especially if you've worked with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Your ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment, along with your experience in basic electrical skills, will be invaluable. In addition to technical skills, the job requires competencies such as ethical conduct, communication proficiency, and being results-driven. Self-initiative is also important, as you'll need to be able to work independently with minimal supervision, something you're likely accustomed to from your military experience.

Base salary, $70 - $75K, a401(k) with company match of 3%, health, vision, dental, and life coverage, an HSA option, and retirement plan.
