Expected salary range of $133,200 to $148,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

LOCATION

This is a hybrid position based out of our Warrendale, PA office. An in-office presence will be required up to 50% of the week, the other 50% will offer the flexibility to work from home. Additionally, up to 20% travel is anticipated annually, concentrated across the East Coast.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Manager of Project Management takes full responsibility for all contractual requirements of designated construction projects to ensure that Project Managers accomplish all internal and external goals within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Responsible to upper management for the performance of a given project and leading Project Managers in completing projects on time and under/within budget. Provide direction, support and empower the PM team to perform above expected levels of responsibility and beyond expectations. Manage project risk and internal tracking processes in support of business unit responsibilities. Manager will work closely with sales and development teams by providing implementation support for current and future opportunities.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manages/leads the following aspects of Construction Project Management:
    • Provide general management proficiencies and area-specific skills and tenets.
    • Plan, perform and control project policies, objectives and responsibilities.
    • Assure adequate support and resources are available to project team.
    • Guide project managers through effective personal attitudes, leadership and professional conduct.
  • Oversees multiple construction projects and their managers to ensure that goals/objectives are accomplished within terms of the contract deliverables to the complete satisfaction of the customer.
  • Work internally with stakeholders for alignment with corporate objectives, business unit gross margin goals and targeted sales pipeline initiatives.
  • Allocate team members for specific assignments based on individual accomplishments and ability to reach objectives for personal and professional growth.
  • Effectively evaluate PM performance, provide constructive support and develop a path forward for the continual success of individuals and Constellation.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a related engineering discipline (e.g., electrical, mechanical) and 7+ years of related work experience in construction management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in handling high-pressure situations where tact and cooperation are crucial to cost-effective operation.
  • Experience in directing, supervising, training employees, assigning and directing work, conducting performance appraisals, disciplining employees, & addressing complaints and resolving personnel problems.
  • Ability to manage various personnel from all walks of life into a cohesive team for a common goal.
  • Demonstrated thorough understanding of cost estimating and budget projections.
  • Experience in all fiscal aspects of project management.
  • Ability to develop short term strategies for long term solutions to complex challenges.
  • Excellent understanding of engineering and construction documents and processes.
  • Ability to review schematic drawings and understand architectural drawings.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated excellence in mechanical trades and construction, encompassing specialties like HVAC, electrical work, and related fields
  • Professional Engineer (PE) citification preferred
  • Proficiency in construction estimating & use of estimating software, such as RS Means & MCA Manual, preferred
  • Experience with Primavera P6 or similar project scheduling software
  • Experience with Deltek CostPoint or similar accounting software
  • Practical knowledge of contract law
