Responsibilities

Are you ready to take your CAREER to the next level? 

 

As a Service Technician, you will complete our award-winning, paid training to learn the skills required to be successful in the daily operation of a pest control service route. As a representative of our service team, you will build relationships with our customers, perform pest control related functions, and schedule and run your own route! 

 

You Will… 



  • Serve as a problem solver for your customers by combining the in-depth training provided and attention to detail to decide on the most efficient and best overall pest solution for each customer's needs 


  • Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and practice customer service skills by discussing additional services that meet customer needs for a complete pest management program 


  • Follow a route schedule within assigned territory, allow flexibility with customer and weather-related factors and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer’s home 


  • Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment 


  • Complete all required service-related documentation and leverage your hand-held device provided for speed and accuracy

Qualifications

As a Service Technician at PermaTreat, you must possess the following skills/requirements: 



  • No Experience Required! 


  • High School Diploma or equivalent 


  • Must be 18 years or older to apply 

  • We will consider for employment all qualified applicants in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws. This includes completing a drug test and having a valid driver’s license

 

Physical Demands / Working Environment: 

 

You must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodation: 



  • Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity 


  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. 


  • Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. 


  • Ability to work in all types of weather conditions 


  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)  


  • Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.
