OFFICIAL TITLE: Staff Assistant, Nursing Laboratory Coordinator (10-month/43 weeks) SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Nursing Department Chairperson SUPERVISION EXERCISED: May supervise graduate assistants or other student employees, as assigned General Statement of Duties: The Staff Assistant, Nursing Laboratory Coordinator collaborates with nursing department constituents to ensure that all related nursing laboratories are scheduled, utilized, maintained and stocked for the purpose of fulfilling the needs of the curriculum. The incumbent will ensure that plans, policies, and procedures for the nursing laboratories are developed, implemented, and maintained. They will supervise student assistants, as assigned, and provide instruction and tutoring when necessary. This is a grant-funded, temporary 1-year appointment. The firm annual salary for this position is $65,000. The anticipated start date for this position is August 12, 2024.
