Job Summary:


AFO is looking for a Component Inspector for our MOTCO contract in Concord CA.


Responsibilities


Job Responsibilities:




  • The component inspector will be responsible for inspecting and documenting all the real property and installed equipment.


  • The inspection will include a condition assessment, documentation for the manufacture, serial number and other pertinent information and entry into the site CMMS (Maintenance Connection).


  • The individual will interface with the DPW to provide information and ensure the contractor database aligns with the real property records in GEFEBs and Builder.


  • The component inspector will develop preventative maintenance task listing based upon manufacture and/or Army standards for all new equipment added to Maintenance Connection.




Qualifications


Minimum Qualification:




  • Bachelor's Degree in Facility Engineering or related field, or Journeyman level experience in an electrical, mechanical-HVAC, or Structural


  • Knowledge of building and equipment maintenance tasks


  • Proficient in MS products,


  • Experience managing CMMS with preference to specific experience with maintenance connection and GFEBs


  • Ability to climb ladders, lift 20 lbs., crawl on hands and knees, walk around roof tops, and handle exposure to being outside for extended periods of time.


  • Ability to wear required PPE when conducting inspections




Posted Salary Range


100,000 - 110,000
