Field AV Service Technician - Military Veterans

An industry leader in the biomedical field that offers state-of-the-art technology for minimally invasive procedures in virtually all surgical specialties, is looking to add highly skilled technicians to their Performance Support teams.

In this role you will support and develop a positive customer experience by performing the primary field operational duties of deploying audio-visual and network-based integrated OR systems (current and legacy) within a medical operating room environment. Responsibilities include constructing the digital infrastructure of an operating room: physical placement/installation/termination of equipment/cabling, and configuration of software (proprietary software, training will be provided). The candidate must always exhibit professionalism by following SOPs and work instructions. You will be supporting a specified geographic region and other regions as assigned.

- Face-to-face customer support, including OR, SPD and biomed

- Daily maintenance and management of products

- Maintain the instrument sets so that they are always in good working order and ready for use

- Keep repairs and replacement equipment expenses within a predetermined budget for the account

- Perform preventative maintenance on all devices; trouble shoot video and instrument issues in the O.R.

- Inspect of the instruments and document their functionality

- Conduct training and education for the OR and supporting departments

- Design process improvements to improve efficiencies and reduce repair costs

Tasks will vary depending on the agreement with the account and will include:

- Video tower / system set-up and support

- Inspection, repair, troubleshooting and replacement of devices

- Monitoring, reporting, and facilitating repairs and exchange transactions.

- Transporting, cleaning, sterilization, and packaging of instruments after use

Base salary, $85 - $90K. $450 month car allowance, 20 cents per mile, $90 per diem, overtime is available, a 401k, medical, dental, life coverage. A laptop, an iPad, and cell phone; hotel points, rental car points.
