Facilities Engineer - Military Veterans

Direct the facilities operations and maintenance at each site including but not limited to: engineering, central plant, fire protection/life safety, security, telecommunications, conference center, cafeteria, 0&M, ground services, construction, renovations, and custodial Provide technical support to site operations. Interpret and implement maintenance policy and procedures.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience supporting projects of similar size, scope, and complexity, with 8 of the 10 years having focus on mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Professional certification/registration. Knowledge of process improvement models (e. g., LEAN/Six Sigma, ISO 9000)
- Experience providing high quality customer service
- Experience building and sustaining high performing integrated teams
- Experience in managing 0&M, construction/renovation projects
- Experience planning and implementing large-scale capital improvement projects
- Experience with integrating project schedules
- Experience providing high quality customer service

- Experience/familiarity with Power Plant design/high voltage system operations
- Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of project management concepts to manage items including, but not limited to: project schedule, scope, cost, risk, and deliverables and related metrics
- Knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) concepts of operation, and electrical generation procedures
- Knowledge of US. Government exercise or crisis management communities and experience planning, coordinating and executing support to special events
- Familiarity with 24/7 operational environment
- US Citizenship Required
- Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility required
