This role is pivotal in advancing our understanding of chronic lung diseases through innovative qualitative and quantitative proteomic techniques. Our laboratory, located within the Marsico Lung Institute, is one of the best equipped and most focused on mucin/mucus biochemistry and biophysics as well as Lung's innate immunity, making it one of the leading research groups in the USA in this field. The postdoctoral position offers the successful candidate an exceptional chance to develop new skills and apply them to crucial questions regarding innate lung defense mechanisms and various chronic lung conditions.
