Field Service Technician - Military Veterans

Our client, who designs, makes, and maintains highly engineered processing equipment, is looking for Field Service Technicians with a salary range of $70 - $85K.

The hiring managers are prior military and looking to add to their team. They have two different business segments for which they are currently hiring. One business line is for conveyor equipment, while the other is focused on high tech food processing equipment.

The Field Service Technician position reports to the Service Manager and works closely with sales managers, engineers, and operations leaders to ensure customer expectations are exceeded with every assignment. The candidate will travel to customer sites to perform planned services, troubleshoot issues, make repairs, recommend spare parts, and provide upgrades/modernizations.

The Field Service Technician is also responsible for delivering total equipment lifecycle management services including installation, start-up/commissioning, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, audits, and training. A qualified candidate must be self-motivated, professional, energetic, positive, and disciplined to be able to perform in time-pressured and intensive work environments.

Conveyors Division:

Base salary, plus overtime, mileage reimbursement, most flying which will be paid (all travel expenses paid). There is per diem, full benefits, and a 401k. It is 80% travel, mostly Monday - Friday, utilizing mechanical focused skill sets.

Food Processing Division:

Base salary, plus overtime, with per diem, full benefits, and a 401k. A company car is provided, more (80%) regional travel. The role focuses on electrical/electronic skill sets.
