The Department of Economics invites applications for apost-doctoral lecturer position for academic year2022-23. Thepost-doctoral lecturer will be responsible for teaching undergraduate lectures and recitations in micro and macroeconomics. The position will begin on September 1, 2022, pending administrative and budgetary approval. The initial appointment is for one year and may be renewed for one additional year. Candidates must have defended their dissertation between 2019 and 2022. If the selected candidate will graduate in Summer 2022, the Economics Department must receive by July 31 a signed Doctoral Thesis Reader Sheet from the primary adviser approving the dissertation for defense. The dissertation must be successfully defended and deposited to the Graduate School on or before September10, 2022 in time for the graduation deadlines. Failure to meet any of these deadlines will result in a failure to meet criteria for employment in apost-doctoralcapacity in the Economics Department. We are seeking to hire a recent doctoral graduate in Economics with a strong record of research and teaching, relevant professional experience, familiarity with the Economics curriculum and student body, and a commitment to questions of equity and diversity.
