Northrop Grumman Australia provides the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) with through-life support for its fleet of KC-30A Multi-role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft—a derivative of the Airbus A330-200. The platform is a trusted and proven asset and the program is continually growing in capability and expertise.

Your Role:

As Financial Analyst in our Business Management team, you’ll play a crucial role in both internal and external reporting, as well as analysing and maintaining our accounting systems. Your insights will be key in interpreting financial results, adding significant value to our business, and you'll collaborate with various departments to refine processes. Key responsibilities include managing the general ledger, overseeing month-end procedures, conducting balance sheet reconciliations, analysing P&L, and handling internal reporting. You’ll also engage in budget-related activities within our ERP system and manage diverse ad-hoc projects.

This role is a fixed term contract for 16 months with the possibility of extension.

About You:

You're detail-oriented, holding a Business degree with a focus on Accounting/Finance, and either possess or are working towards a CA/CPA qualification. Your background includes experience in forecasting and reporting, coupled with a strong ability to analyse financial data, especially Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet figures. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and a readiness to adapt to our in-house tools are essential. Your excellent communication skills are vital for engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Adaptable and able to prioritise in a dynamic environment, you’re committed to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
