General Information:

Hitachi Energy is seeking for a Distribution Comp Assembler for it's Alamo, TN location.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Primary Function:Assemble, Process and shipping of Distribution Components
  • Quantity Standard:Based on Load Plan Schedule and standard work by cell
  • Quality Standard:Bushings will be manufactured to procedures, specifications and customer requirements.
  • Environmental Conditions:The workplace shall be kept free of clutter, clean and free of all contaminants and be well illuminated.
  • Tools and Safety Equipment:Standard and custom tools, Assembly stations, cranes, process equipment, Computer controls, custom fixtures and forklift.
  • Material:Paper, oil, gaskets, aluminum, copper, steel, epoxy compounds, glass, sealants, ink, ammonia, lower supports, lower porcelain, flanges, upper porcelain, top terminals, bowls, foil, spring assembly, lead solder paste
  • Direction of others:May be required to give information to engineering, purchasing, customer service and shipping as required by assignment.
  • Direction Received: Must be able to work within a teamwork structure with a minimum of supervision.
  • Training obligation:Continuous training on new equipment or new processes within the teamwork structure, based upon assignment.
  • Other requirements:Good Working habits and communication skills with team members and customers.

Your Background:
  • High School Graduate or GED. Must be able to successfully read drawings and procedures, Operate Computer Systems and processing equipment after training period.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Able to performance repetitive fast pace assembly work to meet takt time. One to two years manufacturing experience.
