This opportunity to join the Department of Pediatrics at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons at the rank of Instructor is an exciting one. Columbia University Irving Medical Center, one of the nation's foremost academic health science center's working together with one of the nation's premier health systems, New York-Presbyterian Hospital. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Department of Pediatrics at Columbia University Medical Center is seeking BC/BE Pediatrician for FT faculty position, as House physician in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU) at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York-Presbyterian, at the Instructor level, with appointment to Columbia University and New York Presbyterian Hospital, effective July 01, 2024. He/She will join a group of dedicated house physicians who will provide 24/7 coverage of the PCICU. Sub-specialty training not required. Interested applicants should be BC/BE pediatricians and will receive faculty appointments at the Instructor level. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATION Must have a MD or DO degree and an active NYS Medical License. Must be Board certification / Eligible in Pediatrics. Must be eligible to practice in NYS. Consistently strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with professionals in other disciplines; The ability to create a high-energy results-oriented work environment that encourages colleagues and staff to value each other's contributions and the ability to share and celebrate success with colleagues and staff.
