C-UAS Staff Analyst - Military Veterans

Torch Technologies is seeking a Staff Analyst with experience working in the Headquarters, Department of the Army in the areas of Equipping, PPBE and/or Acquisition. The selectee will support the G-3 DAMO-Fires team on actions related to Counter Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS). The analyst will support the HQDA G-3 DAMO-Fires Military Deputy, C-sUAS Division Chief, and other team members as a focal point for the Department to synchronize and integrate C-sUAS efforts for Army staff and other stakeholders (e.g., G-8, ASA/ALT, ABO, other G-3 offices, the Joint Counter Small UAS Organization (JCO), OSD, RCCTO) CONUS and OCONUS activities. Duties will include:

  • Maintain situational awareness of Army and JCO C-sUAS funding, requirements, and capabilities.
  • Assist Sr Analyst in responding to questions re: requirements, resourcing, policy, equipping, including Congressional questions.
  • Support team in analyzing JCIDS documents (Capabilities Development Documents, ONS, JUONS, Directed Requirements, etc.)
  • Synchronize actions across Army stakeholders and with plans and policy elements, to build and improve cohesive Army C-sUAS processes and outcomes.
  • Lead meetings and events with stakeholders across the Army and interface with other Services, JCO and OSD.
  • Execute staff actions to support Army staff efforts.
  • Prepare written products (reports, info papers, executive summaries) to shape and defend Army positions.
  • Prepare and present briefings to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Answer requests for information from legislature (e.g. Congress) and stakeholders

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required (Master's Degree preferred)
  • 4 years of related work experience, including at least one year supporting or working closely with the Headquarters, Department of the Army (or equivalent) as military, civilian or contractor.
