Base salary for this position is dependent upon experience and location: $83,804.80 to $104,756, Maine.
Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting
relationships, other relationships:
This position is responsible for reviewing the accounting activities
within Avangrid Group (AGR), which includes both regulated and non-
regulated business affiliates. This position will also be responsible
for the management and control of the AGR Financial Ledger including
supporting the AGR Business Control Teams in their understanding and use
of the SAP application to meet group accounting policies. Additionally
this position will participate in the review and/or preparation of the
AGR standalone financial statements.
This position will have no direct reports in their group of 4 including
themselves.
Major roles & responsibilities: (Scope of work - range of
responsibilities):
- Lead the rest of the AGR Accounting Teams (Networks including
standalone companies in all applicable accounting standards (US GAAP &
IFRS) in accordance with timeline and deliverables established by
- Accounting Manager. Preparation of standalone financial statements for
- Support the rest of the three AGR Accounting Teams, ensuring
review and analysis of SAP financial records and business processes and
- Analyze business needs to participate in development of detailed
- Review and analysis of monthly P&L and key performance indicators
- Support the external and internal audits through execution of
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- Accounting or financial experience required
- Experience in preparation or audit of financial statements

Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards required
- Knowledge of FERC accounting standards preferred
- Experience with ERP system required, SAP preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written required
