Location: Gardner, MA Category: Professional (Staff Member) Posted On: Thu Jan 18 2024 Job Description: General Statement of Duties : The person in this position is responsible for providing instruction to PTA students in specific PTA coursework when necessary due to planned and unplanned laboratory absences. Tutor will communicate with primary faculty to determine exact content and objectives to be fulfilled during tutor session. This person will mentor and role model to student professional, ethical and competent physical therapy practice. Responsibilities: Provides one on one tutoring on specific PTA skills on individual basis as indicated; Communicates with primary PTA faculty to determine exact content and objective to be fulfilled during tutoring session; Communicates with PTA program director regarding any questions or concerns about tutoring session. Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree in PTA ; Current Massachusetts licensure as a PT or PTA; Must possess a minimum of two years full time experience in PT or its equivalent; Evidence of competence in the area of instruction. Desired Qualifications: APTA membership.
