Summary of responsibility:

The Parts and Service Support Center Manager provides the highest level of customer service to our customers regarding service requests, parts orders, and product information. This position will also drive strong customer focus, along with efficiency, and effectiveness within the team. This position is essential to collecting customer requests for support, keeping our customers updated, and tracking parts requests and service appointments. The Parts and Service Support Center Manager will act as a mentor and trainer for the team and will constantly strive to make the team better. Other duties include, but are not limited to:

Job Responsibilities:



  • Lead the day-to-day activities of the Parts and Service Support Center Team.


  • Build and manage relationships with all major machine builders to build seamless paths of critical issue and resolution.


  • Serve as an internal escalation point for all Parts and Service Support Center Team requests.


  • Constantly strive to improve the level of support, and our effectiveness and efficiency when supporting the customers.


  • Ensure Cases are built that accurately record the customer’s request.


  • Provide feedback to customers on the status of their request, if required.


  • Apply machine tool manuals, online information, and vendor resources to research machine parts by model and serial number.


  • Create quotes for parts and estimates for service as needed.


  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by

  • Perform related duties as required.

  • Intermediate to sophisticated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other related business programs as the need arises.

  • Must be able to work Monday – Friday, starting promptly at 8:00AM and ending at 5:00PM.


  • Must be highly mobile, able to access all areas of the premises.


  • Ability to concentrate and remain focused while handling multiple tasks, responsibilities and projects.


  • Ability to sit for prolonged period of times.


  • Must be able to perform bending, twisting, stooping, reaching and lifting of moderate to heavy weight material up to 50 lbs. with assistance from equipment or other employees.


  • Ability to frequently use hands and arms


  • Vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.


  • Ability to keep their composure with the public and co-workers in everyday, stressful situations.
