NYU College of Dentistry is seeking applications for a part time clinical position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology, Radiology & Medicine. Responsibilities include patient care in a new state of the art facility, teaching in the predoctoral and postgraduate didactic and clinical programs, scholarly activity that advances knowledge in the area of oral medicine and/or special needs dentistry, clinical consultations and clinical supervision in the College's Oral Medicine Clinic. Candidates at the Associate Professor level will be expected to have a record of research accomplishments including extramural funding. NYUCD offers opportunities to participate in a multidisciplinary clinical research center as well as an expanding basic science research program in oral cancer, biomaterials/tissue engineering and chronic oral diseases. Opportunity to participate in the NYUCD faculty practice is also available. Candidates should possess a DDS/DMD degree, advanced training and experience in Special Needs Dentistry. Demonstrated excellence in treating patients with specialized healthcare needs (including developmental and physical disability and medical complexity) and advanced dental oncology training are preferred. Candidates must be eligible for a New York State dental license.
