Job Description:

St. Cloud State University Library is seeking applications for potential adjunct faculty librarians (part-time in the Multicultural Resource Center (MRC). MRC provides support for students, faculty and community members to research, teach about, and broaden their knowledge of historically excluded racial and ethnic groups of color in the United States. Of special interest will be the historical and contemporary experiences of people of color in the Midwest. Position responsibilities include:

  • Plan and support academic programming
  • Assist students, faculty, and community members with research and by providing instruction related to communities of color
  • Create and maintain LibGuides to aid users in research related to communities of color
  • Recommend selection of multicultural research materials for addition to the University Library collection
  • Support campus faculty in selection, adoption, and creation of low or no cost education resources, in support of University Library's Affordability Initiative
  • Special projects in support of the University Library strategic plan goals and the
