Postdoctoral Associate Position in Professor Vibha Kalra's Research Group at Cornell University Prof. Vibha Kalra's research group at Cornell University (Ithaca, NY, USA) is seeking applicants for two postdoctoral associate positions on "Next Generation Batteries". The project(s) will involve material development for next generation batteries, advanced electrochemical, spectroscopic, and microscopic characterizations (including in-situ / in-operando ) and battery recycling. An ideal candidate will have expertise in one or more of the following areas: solid electrolytes, in-situ / in-operando characterizations, metal anodes, high voltage cathodes, and battery recycling. The postdoctoral scholar will be expected to actively participate in a collaborative environment, design independent, hypothesis-driven research projects, successfully carry out the proposed research, and disseminate their findings via peer-reviewed papers and conference presentations. Additional Information about Kalra lab and Cornell University: Qualifications : Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics or related field. Strong background in batteries. Experience with different characterization techniques. In-operando characterization experience is a plus Proven record of publications in peer-reviewed journals. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
