Lecturer - Health Services Management | North Carolina A&T State University - Military Veterans

Description: This is a full-time 9-month non-tenure track faculty position with teaching responsibilities in health services management. The successful applicant is expected to participate in the continued development of the health services management program, including student recruitment, identifying internship opportunities, developing new courses, student handbook, and other relevant documents. Additional responsibilities include a) serving as an academic advisor, b) serving on academic or administrative committees, and c) keeping abreast of developments in the field by reading current literature, collaborating with colleagues, and participating in professional organizations and conferences. Primary Function of Organizational Unit: Instructional Internal job number: 009900 Requirements: This applicant must have a master's degree in health services administration, management, health policy, public policy, public health or a related field. Preferred: The preferred candidate will have a Ph.D. in Health Services Management/Administration or a related field; 3 years of teaching experience; and a demonstrated ability to develop collaborative relationships across disciplines and with external health care organizations
