About This Position
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: This position supports our SCORE and CorrLinks programs. It also provides general support to the office and is responsible for a variety of related tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Route support calls from customers to appropriate staff.
- Support office with miscellaneous tasks
- Respond to CorrLinks (1.2M active users) support correspondence following pre-established response language. For requests outside the norm, ask for assistance from Quality Assurance Coordinator II or management.
- Receive SCORE devices and accessories from manufacturer and ship to institutions.
- Follow established protocol to process SCORE devices (tablets and MP3 players) received from ender users. Carryout and document appropriate action associated with each type of scenario.
- Follow established protocol to process SCORE device deinstitutionalization requests. Ensure proper procedures are adhered to and funds are correct.
- Research and reserve travel (air, hotel and car) for employees that are traveling.
- Handle reimbursements and chargebacks
- Verify, track and record PTO.
This job does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
What You'll Need
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will often be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, talk and hear. The employee will occasionally be required to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee will occasionally be required to lift up to 50 pounds. There are no special vision requirements.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will not be exposed to any environmental conditions. The noise level is moderate (example: business office with computers and printers, light traffic).
