MEDICAL DIRECTOR ADULT CARDIAC CATHETERIZATION LAB | University of Iowa - Military Veterans

The University of Iowa Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine is recruiting a full-time board-certified interventional cardiologist to serve as the Medical Director of the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Adult Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. This position will be in the rank of Associate Professor or Professor on the tenure or clinical (non-tenure) track, depending on qualifications. This position is not eligible for University sponsorship for employment authorization. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the operations in the cardiac catheterization laboratory and will assist with overseeing the strategic growth of the interventional cardiology section. The candidate will be responsible for faculty and staff development, as well as maintaining clinical schedules. Patient care will occur at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, affiliated outreach sites, and the affiliated Iowa City VA Medical Center. Clinical duties will include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic.
