Job Summary and Qualifications


  • Under the supervision of the laboratory supervisor, performs EEGs in the laboratory and at the bedside of hospital-based inpatients. 

  • Shares an on-call rotation with other staff for emergency studies.

Position Requirements:


  • Must be ABRET EEG Registered. BLS Certification through AHA or ARC required. 

  • Graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or equivalent formal training. Some college level work is preferable.

  • 2 years minimum experience in Neurodiagnostic technology (may include time spent in training).

  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other health care team members. Ability to manage a team and work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care. Strong critical thinking skills.

It has five medical campuses, including the Main South Campus, the North Campus Behavioral Health and Wellness Center, Centennial Medical Plaza, Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital, and Spalding Rehabilitation at P/SL. The Main Campus is a Level II Trauma Center with Primary Stroke Certification and Chest Pain Center accreditation, serving the eastern metro area and I-70 corridor. The South Campus has a Level III NICU.
