Ground Support Technician (GSE) 'I' Level - Military Veterans

TASK DESCRIPTION: This task is located at the I-Level Maintenance Activity for the purpose of supporting the aviation general maintenance of the GSE assigned to the Logistics & Support Branch at AAJB.

TASK REQUIREMENTS:

1. Support the KAF GSE branch by performing at scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, evaluation of unusual field problems, and emergency repair of GSE equipment/systems.

1. Provide hands-on maintenance on all assigned support equipment.

1. Provide I-Level maintenance to the following systems and components, but are not limited to: GSE electrical and mechanical units, HTS, mobile electric Powerplants, compressor gas turbine.

1. Support OJT and cross training of KAF personnel.

MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a GSE repair technician with direct hands-on experience.

1. Satisfactory completion of the appropriate GSE military training courses.

1. Must be familiar with the maintenance documentation procedures as stipulated in COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 Series.

1. Philipino, US Army, USAF, USN, USMC, Kuwaiti, Canadian and Australian Air Force experience is also applicable to these tasks.

1. No security clearance required.
