Role:
Sysco MB and ON are looking for Class 1 Owner/Operator to service our customers. Sysco ICA drivers live and work in the communities we serve.
Sysco’s contracted Independent Cartage Agents (ICA’s) enjoy:
- Very competitive pay
- Daily assignments – be home at the end of each day!
- Compensated for cost of fuel.

Benefits of becoming an Independent Contractor Agent (ICA) with Sysco:
- 1Be home every night - all routes come home the same day within legal hours.
- Work Monday – Friday weekends off.
- Routes are paid by kilometers, weight, and difficulty of the stop.
- ICAs are paid bi-weekly direct deposit.
- Get a yearly allowance of $400 for your uniforms.
- Be your own company.
- Customer service and food safety training is provided.
Driver Requirements:
- Must have a valid Class 1 driver’s license and own a suitable tractor.
- Must live in or willing to relocate to one of the locations listed on this posting
- Must have a minimum of 1 year experience driving tractor trailer.
- Must have a recent (within 3 months) clean criminal record check.
- Must have a driver’s abstract with no more than 3 demerit points.
- Must have Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) coverage in accordance with the owner and number of personnel that will be working for your business.
- Must have a business license.
- Must have a GST number.
- Must have a Safety Fitness Certificate.
- Must have steel toe boots.
- Must be hard-working, self-motivated, organized and consistently display superior customer service and communication skills.
- Must be organized, punctual and reliable.
