Our Director of National Accounts will be responsible for leading a team of National Account Managers (NAMs) responsible for managing and growing the company's national account customers. The Director of National Accounts will oversee a $100 million segment of business with a focus on our multi-site National Account Customers

Responsibilities

You Will . . .

  • Lead National Account Sales Team to retain / maintain and grow their customer base by negotiating multi year contractual agreements for current and new product / service offerings
  • Oversee and participate in identifying new business opportunities and build rapport with key customer contacts with the National Accounts customer's headquarters
  • Monitor and manage day-to-day sales activities within assigned area through effective communication and travel
  • Assign sales territories to staff. Coordinates sales territories, quotas and goals, and communicates to Account Managers sales and marketing techniques
  • Meet and/or exceed defined business plan sales goals
  • Contribute strategically to the growth and market visibility of assigned business products and services
  • Analyze sales statistics to formulate policy and to assist Account Managers in promoting sales
  • Review market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates. Develops sales campaigns to accommodate goals of the Company
  • Analyze and controls expenditures of assigned business unit to conform to budgetary requirements
  • Communicate and coordinate new sales through appropriate Orkin Senior Leadership
  • Work closely with Region Managers to coordinate calls and proposals, which may affect their territory. Promote teamwork between National and Regional sales for the field
  • Establish communication for business to business selling processes to meet targets

Qualifications

The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing, or the equivalent in related work experience
  • 7+ years of experience in sales management role with multiple call points, demonstrating effective knowledge and use of solutions selling and complex sales process skills
  • 5+ years of experience in national account sales management required, demonstrating documented results of overachieving quotas demonstrating the ability to sell and cultivate strong, long-lasting customer relationships with all levels of professionals within the organization
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to function as a positive agent of change and of creating a positive, engaging work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to include the ability to communicate professionally and concisely
  • Must be able to work closely with leaders across all departments
  •  

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

 

  • We require the ability to pass a drug screen and background checks.  Candidates must have the ability to perform the requirements of the job with or without accommodations. Insert if travel required.
  • Must be local to the Atlanta metro area or willing to self-relocate to the area.
