Job Summary:

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital​ is seeking an interventional cardiologist to join a well-established practice that has been serving the Ocala area and surrounding communities for over 35 years.

Qualified Candidates:
  • Join a large private practice comprising 39 providers, including 25 physicians and 14 advanced practice providers (APPs), with 10 office locations across North Central Florida, including Ocala.
  • The position will primarily focus on interventional cardiology with the option for a 50/50 mix with general cardiovascular medicine, depending on the physician's preference.
  • Interventional services will cover a range including both routine and complex coronary procedures, with opportunities in peripheral interventions for interested or experienced candidates. Structural cases are not handled within this practice. Support from cardiothoracic surgeons is available for complex cases.
  • General services encompass echo, nuclear imaging, consultations, medication management, and more.
  • Call responsibilities are shared among physicians, with a STEMI call schedule of 1:4 or better.
  • Additional support in clinic and hospital settings includes advanced practice providers (APPs), medical assistants (MAs), and administrative staff.
  • Ideal candidates would hold certifications in Nuclear and Echo cardiology.
  • The incoming provider will be based at our Ocala office.
