The Columbia College Core Curriculum invites applications for adjunct faculty positions for the fall and/or spring semesters of the 2023-2024 academic year. Ph.D. in art history is preferred, but the humanities, social sciences, or a related field will also be considered. PhD is required by the date of appointment. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated excellence in teaching and a commitment to best practices in pedagogy. Please note that all applications must be submitted through the online application site, where you can also find further information about this position. Please indicate in your cover letter the period of time for which you are applying (for which semester or for the full academic year).
