Job Summary:
We are seeking an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon or Neurological Surgeon in Northern VA to join a busy and established private practice.The ideal candidate will be an American Board of Spine Surgery Boarded Physician, interested in a mixed practice heavily focused on Spinal diseases and conditions, spine care and diagnosis and treatment of spinal diseases and conditions.
You will have access to a multi-specialty team of an experienced board certified orthopedic spinal surgeon and 3 board certified anesthesiologists with interventional pain management fellowships.
Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Performing routine examinations specific to orthopedic function and musculoskeletal disease
- Performing hospital based spine procedures and spine surgery
- Creating and managing patient treatment plans
- Observing patient outcomes--recommending changes to the treatment plan as necessary
- Documenting all aspects of the patient experience via EMR
- Ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction throughout all aspects of treatment
- Adherence to medical state medical board guidelines, laws and restrictions
- Collaboration and supervision of the PA’s
