Job Summary:

HCA Florida West Hospital​/University of Central Florida College of Medicine is seeking psychiatry faculty member for new residency program scheduled to open July 2023

Qualified Candidates:
  • Board certified in psychiatry
  • Academic experience with leadership aspirations preferred
  • The incoming physician will receive a faculty appointment through UCF COM
  • Join established team of five physicians and two advanced practice providers
  • The incoming physician would focus on inpatients, consults, and IOP

About the Behavioral Health Service:
  • The Pavilion is a 73 licensed bed inpatient behavioral healthcare center with consultation liaison service, PHP/IOP clinic and ECT service
  • The Pavilion offers inpatient treatment for adults 18 and old who are experiencing acute illnesses that require 24-hour medical care. They are a certified baker act receiving facility that also accepts voluntary and direct admissions
  • In addition to the current inpatient services, implementation has begun for a group-based intensive outpatient service to be delivered on the campus of The Pavilion
  • Although physically adjoined to West Florida Hospital, The Pavilion is a separate facility, ensuring confidentiality and patient privacy
  • The Pavilion offers comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and treatment programs in an environment of comfort, caring and privacy. The facility features comfortable patient rooms, a private dining room and a specially designed occupational therapy department
