Main Responsibilities

Lead with Distinction:

  • Supervise a team up to 15 talented sheet metal technicians to achieve assembling and manufacturing of parts for our unique aircraft monuments, promoting skills development and recognize achievements.
  • Conduct assessment dialogues and recognize team achievements.
Drive Project Success:
  • Ensure the jobs are performed in accordance with the relevant documentation and maintain accurate records on the files related to budget, schedule, and manpower.
  • Collaborate and budget responsible with the shop manager on quotations, refurbishments, and completion projects.
  • Coordinate with internal and external suppliers to ensure efficient project execution.
Ensure Safety First:
  • Implement corrective actions from audits and ensure continuous improvement through 5S actions and controls.
  • Uphold safety and security of the shop and the team assigned to it, including organization, protection, and cleanliness of the team area.
Foster Communication & Collaboration:
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders on escalation items, modifications, product development, and prototyping.
  • Cascade company and department communications effectively and address feedback or issues promptly.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and coaching skills to motivate and guide the team.

Your profile

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead 10-15 people.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management, including budget, schedules and KPI control.
  • Strong experience in water system, assembling and welding.
  • Strong experience in manufacturing of sheet metal parts and complex assemblies (decorative and structural).
  • Professional experience in aviation industry with a deep understanding of regulatory processes (EASA P21G manufacturing and P145 fabrication).
  • Working on daily basis with 2D and 3D drawings, with SAP and as well MS Office Toolsets are no obstacle.
  • Good English skills, any other language is a plus.
  • Proactive, forward thinking, and self-motivated team player.
