Position Summary

This position is responsible for leading with Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor the execution of base and line maintenance projects to achieve safety, quality, cost and on-time delivery targets. You will lead a team of Technicians and Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to ensure efficient and effective project execution in cooperation with Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor.

Lead, develop and motivate the team through positive leadership, communication, coaching and mentoring.

This position is part of our late work pattern and will only work 4 days per week (12.00 p.m. till 11.00 p.m., Monday to Thursday). It will be compensated attractively.

Your Mission

  • Ensure Safety / EHS policies / internal processes and laws are followed and respected. Recommend changes to processes to meet standards and policies
  • Raise reports as required (Hazard report, Pro-active report, support root cause analysis and preventive action)
  • Ensure and control daily safe and clean working environment, lead by example
  • Attend and support daily technical morning meetings and project team meetings
  • Lead a team of Aircraft Maintenance Technicians and Engineers
  • Assign allocated resources and manage work distribution in an independent and efficient manner in coordination with Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor
  • Control that all paperwork is updated and signed daily
  • Manage the project work scope including AWRs, from aircraft arrival to departure and project completion in coordination with Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor
  • Ensure that all defects and findings are reported and recorded
  • Ensure efficient and timely communication with assigned team and Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor
  • Time sheet management (when delegated by Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor)
  • Attend other relevant meetings as delegated by Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor
  • Support external companies working on aircraft project as delegated by Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor
  • Support on any other task as assigned by Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor or Senior Manager Aircraft Operations

Your Profile

  • Minimum two years' experience as Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
  • Technical degree (Associate Degree / 2 years education in a technical area)
  • Good knowledge of relevant aircraft systems and maintenance documentations
  • Holder of EASA Part-66 B1 license, with relevant Type Rating(s)
  • Good knowledge on aviation regulations, applicable authority rules and aviation standards
  • Basic leadership skills demonstrated
  • Understanding of project related budget targets (man hours, quote, contracted work scope)
  • PC literate with MS packages. Experience in using SAP ERP or equivalent
  • Good technical English level (written/spoken)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
