Senior Software Developer - Military Veterans

We are seeking motivated, career and customer oriented Senior Software Developers interested in joining our team in Alexandria, VA and exploring an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.
 
In this Role the candidate will provide technical, development assistance to the Solutions Architect and provide necessary leadership to Mid-Level and Junior Team Members on the overall design, development, and solution of Next Generation Java J2EE based  applications, will engage in full stack Java J2EE application development and will work on all or any Java Technologies from UI to back end. Will work with the team, senior and technical leadership in developing interfaces for various 'Patent End 2 End' application services, and implementation strategies for enhancing and updating existing application features, Fine Tune application code to achieve apt performance targets. Will have experience developing Java Code and experience using J2EE Framework, PL/SQL, JSP, Junit, XSL SOAP,and XML, experience using MS-SQL, ORACLE, experience deploying code on open source containers such as JBOSS EAP, JBOSS BRMS, JBOSS BPM, JBOSS SEAM, JBoss Developer Studio, JBoss SOA-P but not limiting to the mentioned,  integrating j2ee developed interaces with existing NG or Legacy applicatons. Experience using Rally, Knowledge of RBAC. Knowledge and experience with Agile development.

Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:
Technology and solutions implementation experience Java J2EE Technologies. Develop Java Webservices/interfaces for Next Generation Java J2EE patent application, and develop solutions that allow PE2E Application interact with various applications through the developed and access content from Content repositories, experience with CA Agile Central/Rally, Remedy and RBAC. Integrate, migrate and update legacy features of MADRAS Application services to PE2E application stack, consume CMS services, interface with other patent NG Applications. Candidates are required to work on Full Stack java development and will be routinely working on various Java J2EE technologies from Web UI to Backend and Java Services development.

Bachelors degree and at least 8+ years relevant experience or equivalent required. Knowledge/Experience with Agile and Test Driven development methodologies. Experienced performing in Microsoft Windows and Linux  based environments. Strong Knowledge/Experience of development in a Continuous Integration Change Management (CICM) automated deployment and operations approach. Knowledge and experience in Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, and Puppet or Chef environments is desired.
