Summary / Description

We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Quality Manager to join our team in Reston, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

 

In this role you will shall responsible for developing and maintaining a Quality Management Plan (QMP) and any lower tier implementing procedures. The Quality Manager shall work closely with the Project Manager to define, document, and adhere to proposed solutions and delivery schedules.

 

Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Leading all Quality Control activities pursuant to the Quality Manangement Plan to ensure compliance with the Program requirements and applicable Federal regulations.
  • Responsible for preparing and delivering reports to USCB personnel detailing Vendor’s QC performance and recommendations for improvements.
  • Lead risk analysis and mitigation for those risks assigned to the Vendor.

 

 

 

Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
  • The Quality Manager shall possess, at a minimum, the following:
  • At least 8 years of QC experience conducting QC activities; preferably in a supply chain management, logistics, telecommunications, or security within the Federal Government .
  • Experience monitoring complex projects covering all phases of the SDLC lifecycle.
  • Experience conducting QC activities, primarily ensuring that information systems products and services meet quality standards and end-user requirements (e.g., testing software to ensure proper operation, managing testing based on risk analysis).
  • Establishes and collects data for metrics reporting, and analyzes results of activities for potentially adverse trends.
  • Generates and tracks responses to internal CARs and supplier CARs, if applicable.
  • Experience organizing and maintaining QC documentation (e.g., documenting all problems and mitigation strategies and reporting problem resolution progress to management).
  • Ability to track and report on all quality-related risks and lead mitigations.
  • Ability to effectively lead lessons learned for each task of the contract and offer thought leadership and best practice recommendations.
  • Proficient professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 10 years relevant experience or equivalent required.
