Front End Java Developer (UI) - Military Veterans

We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Front End Java Developer (UI) to join our team in Falls Church, VA, to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

Responsibilities:

Building dynamic web applications using Java technology stack and experience in the development of desktop browser and mobile web-based UI.  The candidate must have strong UI development skills using Angular2/4 and be well versed with Typescript/Javascript/JQuery.  The candidate will predominately work on UI development using Angular2/4.

The candidate must be willing to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple assignments and must actively support and contribute to the Agile practices adopted by the development team.  Must have a proven history of building responsive web applications and working as a multi-tier developer who can contribute to development efforts on database, server and user interface components.

Required Skills:

• Angular 2/4/Typescript/Javascript/Html5/CSS 
• Web services using REST 
• Good knowledge of Oracle SQL
• JAVA/JEE
• Spring /JPA/ Hibernate
• Agile SCRUM 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Work with external teams to resolve testing issues and bug fixes. 
• Experience with large-scale enterprise wide IT environments containing multiple technologies, servers and logical environments
• Ability to obtain a federal security clearance

Strongly Preferred Skills Sets:

• Knowledge and experience of building Applications in a cloud based environment

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 10 years of related experience or equivalent
• US Citizen
• CBP-BI Clearance or ability to obtain one
