Developer - Mid Java Specialist - Military Veterans

We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Mid Level Java Developer to join our team in Woodlawn, MD to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

We are looking for someone with strong java development skills both from the back end and the front-end application. Person must especially be knowledgeable in working with interfacing systems including batch and online interfaces and strong skill sin JavaEE. The position also requires strong backend development abilities, especially using DB2 and data modeling exprience.

Must have experience working in an Agile environment. Good analytical skills to understand how business process can be enabled and improved by application functionality. Detail oriented and strong communication skills to Lead and participate in both client-facing and internal meetings. Effectively provide both written and verbal customer status reports. Give presentations to customer and internal team.

Position Requirements:

U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED.

Bachelor's degree and 5 plus years’ experience as a developer

Strong skills in JavaEE and integration

3 to 5 years experience in: - HTML/JSP/JavaScript/CSS and DOJO. .NET

Back End Development in Core Java, Spring, Hibernate, and DB2.

Creating and consuming REST and SOAP services

Working as part of the Application development teams and building modernized application platform. Java development experience and building API with interfacing systems.

Experience in integrating with connecting systems - Batch and online,

Experience in building PL/SQL code and Database query language and data modelling.

Assemble and perform integration testing of a Java EE application using IBM WebSphere Application Server

 Good analytical skills to understand how business process can be enabled and improved by application functionality

Detail oriented and strong communication skills to Lead and participate in both client-facing and internal meetings.

Effectively provide both written and verbal customer status reports. Give presentations to customer and internal team.
