Field Service Technician - Military Veterans

As our client's Regional Field Service Technician, you will provide technical support and repair of their municipal customers' equipment in the field (water/wastewater environments). To maintain the quality of service at a high level in support of the company's sales effort. You must have a strong electrical background with some pump / valve experience. You will be working in a dirty setting as the pumps do deal with sewage so you must be okay with that.

Picture yourself behind the wheel of a company work van (you can take it home every night), with all travel expenses covered. While some overnight travel is part of the job, rest assured, you'll be home most nights. Essential duties:

- Inspect, repair, and service customer equipment at the customer locations in response to customer's calls

- Have an understanding and the ability to repair electrical controls

- Travel for customer assistance or training

- Establish a work schedule in coordination with the Service and Repair Manager and the Repair Coordinator

- Perform preventative maintenance service on customer equipment at the customer's location

- Perform some in-shop equipment repair

- Maintain field or shop work area in a safe, clean, and working order

- Use proper safety equipment per company safety policies

- Other duties as assigned by management

Base salary, $60 - $85K DOE. Overtime is available.
