Overview

The Stockroom Clerk's primary responsibilities are accurately picking and relieving parts from inventory for all jobs, as well as staging materials for these jobs, while assisting with cycle counting and storage of inventory.

Responsibilities

Includes, but is not limited to, the following...


  • Complete daily stockroom tasks as directed by supervision

  • Pull, label, stage, and issue materials accurately from stock for all jobs per pick list requirements

  • Document and communicate material shortages

  • Reconcile materials back into inventory as necessary

  • Stock incoming materials in their proper locations

  • Assist with daily cycle counts and report day to day inventory requirements to Purchasing

  • Assist shipping, receiving, and others as directed

  • Maintain general housekeeping and organization within the stockroom

  • Other duties as assigned/needed


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Must have a High School Degree or GED equivalent

  • One (1) year minimum related experience; or combination of experience and education

  • Working knowledge of MRP systems is required, Syteline preferred

  • Forklift and overhead crane certification preferred

  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and comprehend all forms of written and/or verbal instructions including but not limited to basic correspondence and blueprints.

  • Effectively able to present information and respond to questions from managers, supervisors, and other employees of the organization

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Ability to apply a common sense approach and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
