Job Description

Enlighten is looking for an experienced Agile Product Owner to directly support creating and managing the product backlog and ensuring the team is working on the most important tasks. This involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and prioritize tasks accordingly. Work is a hybrid role with on-site customer support in San Antonio, TX 2-3 days per week. Some travel CONUS to different customer locations possible.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Defining and communicating the product vision and roadmap.
  • Prioritizing the product backlog based on business value.
  • Ensuring that the team understands the requirements and objectives of each task.
  • Reviewing completed work to ensure it meets acceptance criteria and is in line with the product vision.
  • Ensuring that the product is delivered on time.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Security Clearance: A current Secret level clearance is required; U.S. Citizenship required. Can also consider candidates with a current TS level clearance as well.
  • 9+ years in DoD cyber, agile development, and/or big data with a B.A. in Business, a technical field, or related; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, best practices, and utilizing agile tools like Jira.
  • Experience managing agile software development teams and delivering products to end users.
  • Prior experience with either directly providing Defensive Cyber Security or managing a contract that supported this work.
  • Experience directly managing complex technical projects and or programs.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with others. Ability to speak in a public forum.
  • Excellent interviewing skills including active listening and empathy.
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have an agile certification.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule, providing on-site customer support in San Antonio, TX about 2-3 days per week.
  • Ability to travel CONUS to different customer locations as needed.

Preferred Requirements

  • Prior government or military experience with any of the following organizations: MARFORCYBER, DCSA, DISA, Army Cyber, U.S. Cyber Command, Coast Guard Cyber Command, U.S. Air Force (AFCYBER), or 10TH Fleet / Navy Cyber.Experience with Software Engineering, Cloud Technologies and Cyber Security.
  • Technical background strong enough to determine system requirements and work closely with engineering and management to ensure accurate design and estimating would be an asset, but not required.
  • DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications may be required in this position as directed by the customer.
