About the Job:
We invite a passionate and detail-oriented researcher to join Professor Catherine Qi Zhao's Visual Information Processing (VIP) lab as a Non-Exempt Temporary employee. This temporary position (less than 67 days in the calendar year) offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in ethical AI.

The VIP lab is a pioneering group at the forefront of ethical AI development. We combine computer vision and machine learning techniques to create trustworthy AI solutions with a positive impact on people's lives, particularly in healthcare. Job Duties and Required Knowledge:
(50%) Actively participate in externally funded AI research projects, focusing on integrating ethical considerations.
(20%) Incorporate ethical frameworks into research projects.
(20%) Be involved in writing research papers or presentations focused on ethical AI.
(10%) Contribute to the development of robust ethical guidelines for the lab's AI research activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate student in computer science or engineering related programs.
- Strong understanding of ethical AI principles and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Python and Java programming languages.
- Experience in data analysis and visualization techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
