BUILDING & GROUNDS WORKER
About the job:
- Full-time, 9-month yearly position starting at $20.80 per hour working in Facilities.
- Must be also willing to work holidays and overtime when necessary.
- This position is represented by the Teamsters Local 320 bargaining unit.
Responsibilities
- Perform general custodial work in buildings including cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming hallways, scrub and mop floors
- Clean kitchen areas, clean walls, mirrors and windows, common areas, stairways
- Carpet shampoo, replenish supplies, and grounds work, etc.
- Bag, remove garbage and recycling items
- Load and unload trucks move furniture; dismantle/assemble equipment and materials
- Mow and water lawns
- Clean leaves and debris
- Snow shoveling around doorways and entrance areas
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the assignment
- Ability to interact in public setting in a respectful and professional manner
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
