Pay Philosophy

The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Digital Workforce Enablement (DWE) is looking for a Product Owner II to join its Workspace Engineering platform of products - specifically End Point Security. DWE provides vital products and services for our global workforce. We offer secure and efficient digital workspaces that allow easy access to applications and data, anytime from anywhere. The Product Owner represents the customer and collaborates with stakeholders (business and technology), to identify and prioritize features and stories that meet customer needs and organizational goals. The Product Owner understands the customersproblems well and ensures that the squad/team works on the most valuable work. The Product Owner constantly communicates with stakeholders to make sure that there is a shared understanding of how the squad/team can deliver the highest value to the customer through the product perspective. The Product Owner also works with squads/teams, technologies, and architects in their portfolio to learn about the technologies and systems they support.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><br><li>Collaborates to create product vision and alignment with strategic priorities with stakeholders. Contributes to the development of the portfolio vision. Communicates product and portfolio vision to their squad/team and other squads/teams outside their portfolio/functional area.&nbsp;</li><br><li>With the squad, collaboratively accountable for developing and achieving product level KPIs. Manages product(s) with moderate degree of strategy, scope, and complexity.&nbsp;</li><br><li>Owns and maintains the product backlog and is accountable for its contents and prioritization. Accountable for clear, actionable user stories.&nbsp;</li><br><li>Sets priorities and actively participates in squad/team planning. Contributes to priorities for and actively participates in portfolio planning. Sets expectations with stakeholders for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities.&nbsp;</li><br><li>Participates in squad/team demos, retrospectives, and all other ceremonies.&nbsp;</li><br><li>Works daily with the agile working group clarifying business requirements, removing roadblocks, constantly communicating, and supporting alignment around product strategy.&nbsp;</li><br><li>Collaborates with IT and business leadership to align development and business goals and priorities while working with stakeholders and squad/team to remove roadblocks to execution.&nbsp;</li><br><li>Monitors and maintains the product health, supporting long-term product viability and efficiency, and balancing long and short-term costs with desired outcomes.&nbsp;</li><br><li>Analyzes and reports on feasibility, cost of delay ramifications, economies, or other aspects of planned or potential changes to the product.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><br><li>Understands regulatory, compliance, and other industry constraints on the product and prioritizes accordingly. Negotiates with internal and external squads/teams to ensure priorities are aligned across squads/teams both within and outside the portfolio.&nbsp;</li><br></ul><b>Qualifications</b><ul><br><li><p>Knowledge of advanced security solutions and security infrastructure technologies such as Zscaler Internet Access, Zscaler Private Access and Crowdstrike</p></li><br><li>Experience with enterprise scale infrastructure in endpoint security.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><br><li><p>Knowledge of technology concepts, strategies, and methodologies typically acquired through a Bachelors degree or in a technical or business discipline and a minimum of five years of experience in a practice-relevant domain. 


  • Able to depict and explain the importance of complex ideas, issues and designs to varied audiences; educate SBU/department(s) on business vision and plan and the impact of change. 

  • Able to influence a diverse group of stakeholders; strong leadership skills. 

  • Able to make difficult and quick decisions daily. 

  • Strong problem solver with demonstrated ability to lead a team to push the solutions and progress. 

  • Demonstrated ability to operate collaboratively and builds consensus across multiple organizational boundaries
