Job Description:
This job is responsible for overseeing programs andprojects specific to corporate change initiatives thatimpacthow the bankdoes business, provides a product or service, or executes a function. Key responsibilities include serving as the primary contact to department managers for critical change initiatives and communicating, influencing, and negotiatingvertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage resources.Job expectations include deliveringregulatory and executive material and ensuringresults align to program strategy, simplification,and new capabilities.

This role would fall within the Global Markets Risk (GMR) Initiatives team which is a subject matter knowledgeable change management organization within GMR that is responsible for the delivery of complex technology based regulatory and/or audit remediation, and strategic projects prioritized by GMR. Most change initiatives managed by the GMR Initiatives Management team would qualify as 'material change with technology' which would involve significant change to people, processes and/or technology requiring additional rigor to identify and mitigate risk. This group works closely with the GMR Risk sponsor, Global Markets COO, Risk Managers, Global Risk Analytics, Quantitative Services and Data Group (QSDG), and Market Risk & Global Markets technologies groups. Members of the Initiatives team are also responsible for coordination of the annual Initiative budget planning process for the GMR organization to define, prioritize and justify the subsequent year's portfolio of work as well as working with market risk technology partners and Global Risk COO on a monthly basis to monitor and manage the initiative budget technology run rate against approved plans.

Responsibilities:
• Definesprogram controls, processes, procedures, reporting cadence, decision governance structures,and ways of working with key stakeholders
• Worksclosely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for newchangeinitiatives
• Monitors the execution of defined tasks through tracking of program milestones and their statuses, developing program plans, and measuring progress against ongoingkey performance indicators
• Analyzes, evaluates, and overcomesprogram risks,and producesprogram reports for managers and stakeholders
• Identifies key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendorsto perform in alignment with the program objectives
• Works with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department, leading them to negotiate decision making for efficient and effective resolution
• Meets with stakeholders toprovide transparency intoproject issues and decisions on services, builds positiverelationships, asksquestions,andusestools to uncover root causes to challenges, identifyopportunities, and make recommendations.

Qualifications:
Market risk subject matter knowledgeable project manager with experience delivering business requirements documentation, establishing end-to-end project plans, driving user acceptance testing which involve technology, operational, model analytics team, data, and business stakeholder engagement, tracking and managing delivery issues, establishing governance routines and producing audience specific progress reporting. Previous Project Manager experience is advantageous.
