The department employs over 850 employees in a typical year. In addition to serving food to the campus community, Dining Services also works in conjunction with departments and various groups in planning their events and ensuring university requirements are met Under supervision of Food Service Manager and or Cook, Food Service Worker will assist with the preparation and serving of food, proper food handling, proper knife and equipment handling, proper sanitation, set-up of line in orderly fashion, customer service and cleaning of equipment including pots and pans.
