Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

As a software engineer for the High Performance Computing Group, youll be a member of a cross functional team developing and supporting mission applications.

What sets you apart:

  • Expertise in applying technology and technical skills to solve challenges in creative ways.
  • Experience with multi-process, multi-threaded, embedded designs interfacing to hardware devices.
  • Experience digging into hardware specifications and leveraging hardware interfaces in the composition of low-level software solutions.
  • Knowledge of general programming principles and optimization strategies, with previous experience in C/C++, Python, Embedded Linux or others.
  • Experience with the Linux system services and configuration.
  • Experience with Client-server communication model, ethernet network configuration and provisioning, role-based access control, user management, containers, OpenBMC
  • A willing and effective collaborator, with team members, customers and general technical counterparts.
  • Development and testing skills in High Performance Computing applications or advanced computing / embedded systems.

Workplace Options:
This position can be hybrid (partially onsite, partially remote).

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $149,732.00 - USD $166,000.00 /Yr.
