Boeing is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Labor Relations Advisor to be based in Bangalore, India.

This role offers a great mix of strategy and "hands on" work, for a passionate person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who takes pride in their relationship building and facilitation skills.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Providing sound, pragmatic advice and guidance to the business on employee relations matters, including the interpretation and application of industrial instruments,
  • Take carriage of and provide advice and guidance to the business on the management of disputes and workplace issues,
  • Co-ordinate and assist in the planning, preparation, and management of any EBA negotiations,
  • Support management in their dealings with employee representative bodies,
  • Lead and support business transformation/change projects,
  • Liaison with internal legal counsel for the drafting of Employment/Industrial documentation,
  • Drive, coordinate and administer the organization’s consultative forums,
  • Develop and facilitate training for first line Managers in conjunction with the broader human resources team,

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
  • Proven experience in supporting and advising on organizational transformation and change programs,
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a similar Employee Relations role in a large, complex organization.
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant employment/industrial laws and experience with containment / positive employee relations
  • Proven experience in understanding and interpreting Industrial Instruments and EBAs
  • Substantial experience in dealing with unions and employee representatives.
  • Ability to think strategically in the context of the whole enterprise.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Tertiary qualifications in law, human resource management or a related field preferred.

Typical Education & Experience:

  • Education typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 16+ years' related work experience or master’s degree with 15+ years of experience with an equivalent combination of education and experience.
