HP's Supply Chain is seeking a Global University Program Manager to expand our University Programs globally. The Global University Program Manager will be responsible for the continual evolution of our Supply Chain intern program as well as our Graduate Rotation program. This role is also responsible for building relationships and partnerships internally and externally and identifying & attracting top talent from universities and diverse professional organizations. You will partner with and strategize with key Supply Chain leaders & University Program stakeholders to drive expansion and conversion rates of our Intern and Graduate Rotation programs.

The Supply Chain Global University Program Manager will report to the Chief of Staff of HP's Supply Chain organization. As a valued member of the SC Chief of Staff team, the Supply Chain Global University Program Manager collaborates closely with hiring managers, academic institutions, and other stakeholders to develop effective recruitment strategies and build strong relationships with prospective candidates. The Program Manager will develop & present regular updates and reports to hiring managers and senior leadership on recruitment activities, progress, and challenges. Additionally, they will track and analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of our recruitment strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. In this role, the successful candidate will utilize your extensive experience in University Relations and Early Career talent recruiting, strong knowledge of creative sourcing strategies and full lifecycle recruiting best practices to lead and manage your team.

This position will be onsite with flexible working arrangements and partner often with the VP of HR for Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Refine, implement, and manage an internship program that provides valuable experiences for both students and HP's Supply Chain

  • Design, implement and manage a graduate rotation program that provides valuable experiences for recent graduate hires selected for the program and HP's Supply Chain.

  • Define and execute all program milestones including onboarding, training plan, rotational assignment selections, performance management, offboarding, leadership communication and continuous program improvement.

  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship of interns and graduate hires.

  • In partnership with the Global Recruiting Organization, drive alignment with Supply Chain leadership team on key Universities and diverse professional organizations to recruit top Supply Chain talent from.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key university contacts, faculty members, student, and diverse professional organizations

  • Plan, execute, and participate in campus recruiting activities in partnership with the Global Recruiting Organization

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including HR, hiring managers, and senior leadership, to align early career programs with organizational goals.

  • Communicate program goals, updates, and successes to internal teams and external partners.

  • Coordinate with various departments to provide value add and business critical projects to interns.

  • Develop & conduct training and educational sessions for participating Hiring Managers, key stakeholders, and program participants.

  • Lead the summer internship program to ensure that we are capturing talent early in the process for prospective employment upon graduation.

  • Lead the graduate rotation program to ensure we build a pipeline of future ready supply chain professionals.

  • Establish and execute formal mentoring program for Intern and Graduate hires.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for any challenges or concerns related to the program that the Intern/Graduate Rotation cohort faces.

  • Work closely with People Partners, Recruiting, Supply Chain hiring managers, SC leadership and Business Planning Managers on identifying role profiles and the planned headcount/demand signal of our intern and graduate rotation program

  • Manage the budget allocated to the overall Supply Chain Intern/Graduate rotation program (including but not limited to people and program costs - recruiting events, travel, learning & development).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 7+ years of experience in project or program management within HR, Recruiting, or Talent Programs.

  • Proven experience in university relations, campus recruitment, or talent acquisition, preferably in a corporate setting.

  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans.

  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

  • Continuous improvement mindset, recommending innovative approaches to current processes and procedures

  • Ability to operate with limited supervision and take initiative.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Familiarity with various recruiting tools and platforms.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Event and logistics management experience

  • Experience managing vendor relationships and budgets

  • Self-starter with an attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

  • Willing to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing large complex projects with multiple players across cross-functional teams with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Learning agility, ability to work in ambiguity, and the ability to work in fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

  • Excellent judgment on sensitive, complex, and cross-functional issues, fostering collaboration between leaders, sub-teams, the larger organization, and related functions.

  • Experience with employer branding and social media recruitment strategies.

  • Knowledge of diversity and inclusion initiatives in recruitment.

  • Excellent organizational, data analysis, budget, and project management skills

  • Proven stakeholder management expertise and an ability to liaise & influence various levels of management, including engaging with senior leaders across organizational departments and geographical cultures
