Job Description:

Minneapolis College is seeking a permanent, full-time HR Management Analyst in the Management Analyst 2 job classification, for employment within the Division of Human Resources and Workforce Equity.
This position will evaluate the information flow and processes in Human Resources, and will conduct systems analysis to identify,develop and implement efficient department and college-wide work methods and procedures. This position will configure, assess and adapt Human Resource Information Systems ( HRIS ) to support new processes that will improve work flows and enhance customer satisfaction.
This position will serve as the technical contact for the HR division. This position will maintain relationships with Information Technology Services and other college departments, the college's regional HR and payroll service center, Minnesota State system office, Minnesota Management and Budget, and other agencies and vendors on issues related to HR procedures and workflows. This position will work with campus professional and technical HR staff and the campus's regional service center to strategically coordinate processes and workflow for the entry of new employment records as well as retrieval, reporting and maintenance of ongoing personnel data in HR Campus/ SCUPPS /SEMA4.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyze HR processes and procedures to develop, recomment and install new or revised work methods, processes,and procedures for clearly defined problems in areas such as records management, work and information flow,systems analysis and design, and data processing
  • Work with other departments within the college to enhance and support technology initiatives, share innovative ideas, and increase Human Resources transparency, promoting an HR
