Expected salary range of $72,000 to $80,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for performing engineering and technical tasks, under direct supervision, in support of nuclear plant operations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide technical support to the Senior Civil Dam Safety Engineer and Chief Dam Safety Engineer, including design, analysis, inspection, construction observation, and regulatory compliance activities associated with the Conowingo and Muddy Run Projects.
- Conduct field observations and site visits for dam safety inspections and dam construction/maintenance oversight.
- Review evaluations reports, drawings, and specifications for dam and civil/structural projects.
- Perform structural analysis calculations with supervision to support projects and maintenance activities at the Conowingo and Muddy Run Projects.
- Support other engineers (mechanical, electrical, and controls) as needed.
- Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements.
- Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision.
- Support engineering work functions.

BS Degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering )
